Digital Graffiti 2010

Alys Beach had an amazing event called Digital Graffiti that took place just a few weeks ago. Hundreds of digital artwork submissions were received and only 36 were chosen to be shown at the event. One of the pieces selected was "Eye Spy" created by Russell Beans, Sarah Beans (me), and Jason Ambler. "Eye Spy" features Russell's unique artwork in a stop motion animation created with the idea of "What happens to your artwork once you leave the room?" Well, here is the answer! "Eye Spy" took home not one but TWO awards at Digital Graffiti 2010: BEST LOCAL SUBMISSION & AUDIENCE CHOICE and won a total of $2000 in prize money. Luckily our friends from Tallahassee came for the event and we all the best night ever! Here are a few pictures from the event:

And don't forget to check out "Eye Spy" on youtube!!
P.S. If you want to see the REAL full version search "Eye Spy Russell" on youtube, for some reason the video won't embed to a small enough size to fit on here
